How to: Change the amount of space reserved for deleted files in 'Recycle Bin'.
Solution:
Right-click the 'Recycle Bin' icon on the desktop and select 'Properties'. Move the 'Maximum size of Recycle Bin' slider to the desired size percentage.
1) Right-click on 'Recycle Bin' on the desktop to display the pop-up menu.
2) Select 'Properties' from the pop-up menu. (The 'Recycle Bin Properties' dialog box appears.)
3) Do one of the following:
a) To set the size of disk space reserved for deleted files in each drive independently, select the 'Configure drive independently' radio button.
b) To set the size of disk space reserved for deleted files for all drives, select the 'Use one setting for all drives' radio button and do one of the following:
1] To decrease the capacity of the Recycle Bin, move the slider to the left. (The percentage of the drive dedicated to deleted files is displayed.)
2] To increase the capacity of the Recycle Bin, move the slider to the right. (The percentage of the drive dedicated to deleted files is displayed.)
4) Click 'Apply' and then click 'OK'.
